Padre_Cesare_BettoniFr. Cesare Bettoni of the Philippine Delegation who is celebrating his 57th birthday anniversary today  presides the Eucharistic celebration in English, thus opening a new day for the Chapter. It is interesting to note that every celebration brings with it proper characteristics  of the geographical and environmental locations where the Chapter Members come from, manifested not only in the use of the language but also in the set of the songs used. In the Chapter Hall, the President, considering the interrogations made yesterday, proposes a scheme for the accomplishment of the works. It requires the constitution of Commissions (one for the general issues and five for the analysis of the Rules) and the  execution of the work in two stages. For the first part of the work in the Chapter Hall, about an hour will be dedicated to listen to some Representatives of the Lay Rogationists. Today and tomorrow, the outgoing general Government provides the response to the interrogations of the Assembly. This will take place in the Chapter Hall on Friday, July 16.  In the afternoon the work of the Commissions start. Every Commission, according to the standard procedure, chooses a President and a Secretary.
